Ford Aims to Reduce Production Water Usage by 2015

Most people, even environmentalists, don't often consider how much water is used when making vehicles. Luckily, for those of us that do care, Ford is working on the issue. The truth is, a ton of water is used in all manufacturing processes, and the good news is, Ford has plans to decrease its per-vehicle water usage 30 percent by the year 2015, in addition to the company's already-accomplished decrease of 45 percent between 2000-2010 (and quite a bit more on a global level). And, while the Evos itself isn't likely to go on sale as shown in concept form, Ford has promised to use its design-structure as the new "face" of upcoming Ford vehicles.
